Overnight fire at Limerick City pub
An investigation has been launched into the cause of a serious fire at a city pub overnight.
Fire-fighters were busy putting out a blaze at Molyneauxs Pub on Mungret Street which broke out around 2.40 am. Fire service units from the city backed up by Cappamore fire service fought the blaze for over an hour.
An ambulance was called to the scene however nobody was inside the building at the time.
Garda Investigators will carry out a technical examination of the scene later today and have not yet determined a cause for the fire.
