Gardai probe three northside fires
NewsWire is following reports of possible suspicious fires in Limerick early Monday morning.
Fire services had a hectic morning attending three fires, which all started on the city's northside. At 3am the Fire service were called to a car on fire in the driveway of a house on Brendan Street in St. Mary’s Park. The car was completely destroyed in the fire which also damaged the front of a house.
At 4am Gardai and Fire units were called to attend a fire at a house on Hartigan Villas in Moyross, its thought the house and adjoining houses were badly damaged in the fire. Finally at 6.30am emergency services were called to a fire at a chipper on Munchins Street, St. Mary’s Park.
It’s believed nobody was injured in any of the fires and Gardai at Mayorstone are investigating.
