Man dead after road traffic accident

A 23 year old Limerick man has died following the road crash which happened last night.

The side impact collision which occurred around 9.30 last night, happened on the bog road between Herbertstown and Old Pallas.

Two people had to be cut from the scene and were taken to Limerick Regional Hospital, however the young man died shortly after.

His identity will not be released untill later today.
