More searches today - more arrests

A third man has been arrested this evening after more Garda raids in the city today.

It comes after last nights intelligence led operation which saw two men in their 30's being arrested.

Today's searches took place at a house in St. Mary's Park. Reports say three rifles and a box of ammunition were found at the back of the house on the island.

A second man was arrested at the house but it was only for obstructing Garda activity.

Operation Anvil was set up to tackle organized Crime.
