Accident victim named

The 23 year old man who died last night after a Road traffic accident has been named as Joseph Hanley from Kilteely in Co. Limerick.

He died at 2.00am this morning in Limerick Regional Hospital after the injuries he sustained in the high speed crash last night.

The crash involved a Honda civic and a Toyota Coupee.It is not clear which car Mr. Hanley was driving however the occupant of the other car , another male ,has now been released from hospital.

The young mans death brings the total number of people killed on Limerick roads this year to seven.

Bruff Gardai are asking anyone with information on the accident to come forward.
