Two injured in accident near Foynes

Two people were injured in a road accident near Foynes Thursday.

The two car accident happened just before midday on the Main N69 route around a mile from Foynes on the Limerick road.

The two drivers of the cars, both male were removed to Limerick regional hospital where they are being treated for their injuries.

Fire services from Foynes and Rathkeale attended the scene.
