Some late night Bus Eireann services from the city centre to Castletroy have been reportedly stopped due to Vandalism. Bus Eireann says €5,000 worth of damage has been caused in recent weeks by a "small number of students".

Limerick FC have said today that they are currently in the process of "reviewing their financial model with a view to securing additional investment". The club owner said they are "looking for investment partners that will inject the funds" into the club. RTE News

The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland has announced that it will seek applications for 6 new community and community of interest radio services during the course of 2009, with two of them for the Mid West; East Limerick and Shannon.
