Rod Stewart concert for Thomond Park next summer

Rock icon Rod Stewart is to play a concert at Thomond Park next summer according to the Limerick Leader.

The paper reports the concert will take place on Saturday July 4th 2009 and tickets will go on sale this Friday morning at 9am.

Last month it was announced Elton John would play in June next year and its said that a series of similar events are being planned for the newly revamped stadium.
