Teen injured in stabbing attack

A southside teenager remains in a critical but stable condition today following a stabbing incident in Limerick overnight.

Gardai say a 17 year old male received serious wounds following an altercation at the Shannon bridge roundabout near Jury’s Inn around 2am. Its reported the young man was stabbed multiple times at the hands of an unidentified attacker. He was rushed to the Mid Western hospital.

Investigating gardai say they do not have a description of the attacker and are waiting to speak to the injured teenager as soon as he recovers.
